At the Face Convention Center in Bucharest, SAP NOW AI Tour Romania 2025 brought together more than 450 business leaders, clients, and partners for a day dedicated to exploring how artificial intelligence transforms decision-making and creates real business value.

The event opened with a symbolic fusion of live music and performance art — a reminder that innovation and tradition can coexist.

In her keynote, Diana David, Managing Director of SAP Romania, emphasized clarity as the defining value of technology:

“AI is not about adding complexity, but about separating what truly matters from the noise.”

This message resonated across discussions focused on how companies can move from adopting technology to building intelligent, value-driven ecosystems.

A New Stage of Digital Maturity

Romania’s business landscape is entering a decisive phase of digital maturity. After years of technological acceleration, local companies are beginning to leverage data and AI as core components of strategy.

As Daniel Anghel, Country Managing Partner at PwC Romania, noted:

“Reforms are essential across the economy. Technology can be the engine of modernization, but its impact depends on our ability to act now.”

AI is no longer viewed as a technical advantage, but as the foundation of strategic clarity, driving efficiency, sustainability, and innovation.

Real Impact, Tangible Results

Speakers including Manuel Gerres (SAP MEE), Alexandru Jijian (SAP CH & CEE), and leaders from AWS, PwC, Focality, and Red Point showcased how AI and SAP Business Suite help organizations enhance agility and decision-making.

Companies like eMAG, PPC Romania, UNIQA Asigurări, and Electrica presented measurable results — from process automation to personalized customer experiences — confirming that AI is already an operational reality in Romanian business.

Regional Vision and Responsible Leadership

With strong partnerships across Europe, Romania is becoming a regional hub for applied innovation. The combination of technological agility and human insight positions local leaders at the forefront of conscious, data-driven transformation.

Ultimately, SAP NOW Romania 2025 reaffirmed that technology serves its highest purpose when it amplifies human judgment.
