This ultra-limited edition — fewer than 1,500 bottles worldwide — is the first peated cask strength whisky ever to be fully matured in Fetească Neagră wine casks, an iconic Romanian red grape variety.
The release quietly debuted at Whisky Live Paris 2025, where it immediately drew attention from collectors, connoisseurs, and industry professionals. A Global Premiere in Whisky Innovation
The whisky was matured for over five years in 225-liter European oak barrels previously used for Fetească Neagră wines from Alexandrion Rhein 1892 Domains. Built on malted barley with 35 ppm phenolic levels, gently infused with Scottish peat smoke, the expression delivers a uniquely layered aromatic profile.
